'I never thought I'd be a cat person, but here we are': A 2 am meowgency led to a life changing deci
Once just a regular hooman with zero feline affiliations, a soon-to-be cat pawrent found life flipped upside-down by a soggy orange tabby and some seriously persuasive window-scratching at 2AM. Despite living on the second floor, in strolled the scruffiest little rain-soaked guest like he owned the lease… and hearts.
After inhaling some leftover chicken and water like it was a five-star meal, the uninvited guest made himself right at home on the couch. By morning, he was still there, clearly having decided this place was now his. One vet visit, one missed workday, and one overwhelming to-do list later, the scruffy stray was officially family.
Now dubbed Mango (because orange, obviously), the newly adopted floof has claimed every surface, knocked over every object, and curled up in every available lap. He offers emotional support via strategic laptop flops, follows his human like a fuzzy little shadow, and has transformed his once-petless roomie into a photo-spamming, budget-tracking, routine-loving cat devotee.
What started as a midnight meowmergency turned out to be the best pawsible decision ever.
